Everest Fish Curry Masala recalled for pesticide concerns

Indian spice brands MDH and Everest are under scrutiny after their products were found to contain a cancer-causing pesticide in Hong Kong and Singapore. Authorities in India are looking into the matter; testing protocols are being examined by the Spices Board of India. MDH has not responded, although Everest maintains that its spices are safe.

A nationwide spice sample check is being conducted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Due to the health concerns linked with the #pesticide present in them, #ethylene oxide, Hong Kong and Singapore have recalled the implicated products and issued a warning against consumption.

This event serves as a reminder of the significance of strict food safety regulations and global collaboration for the prompt exchange of information on these kinds of issues.
